**Position:** Conversation Starter — Real Estate Lead Qualification

**Type:** Part-time to start, opportunity to grow into full-time

## About Us
Midway Homebuyers is a Twin Cities (Minneapolis, MN) real estate investment company. We acquire distressed and pre-foreclosure properties directly from homeowners. We're building out our outreach team and looking for someone reliable to be the first friendly voice a homeowner hears from us.
## What You'll Do
- Make outbound calls to homeowners from a screened lead list (pre-foreclosure, distressed properties)
- Follow a simple, warm phone script to introduce yourself and gauge interest
- Set 15-minute phone appointments between the homeowner and our Acquisitions Manager
- Log every call outcome accurately in our CRM (REISift) — no answer, callback requested, appointment set, not interested, etc.
- Follow up on leads that didn't answer or asked to be called back later
- Maintain a respectful, calm, non-pushy tone at all times — many homeowners we call are in a stressful situation
## What We're Looking For
- Clear, confident spoken English (this is a phone-heavy role)
- Prior experience with outbound calling, appointment setting, or telemarketing (real estate experience a plus but not required)
- Comfortable with rejection and high call volume — not every call will go well, and that's expected
- Basic computer skills — comfortable navigating a CRM and logging notes accurately
- Empathetic communication style — this is sensitive subject matter (foreclosure), and tone matters
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet space to make calls
- Available for a consistent daily/weekly schedule
## Nice to Have
- Experience in real estate, wholesaling, or virtual assistant work
- Familiarity with REISift, Podio, or similar CRMs
- Experience with U.S. based phone/dialer systems (e.g., Google Voice, RingCentral, JustCall)
