JOB OVERVIEW

Virtual K–12 Teacher (Remote) – Anchor Executive Services

Pay: Starting at $10 USD/hour (based on experience)

Employment Type: Contract | Remote

Anchor Executive Services is looking for passionate, reliable, and professional Virtual Teachers to join our growing educational team.

We are building a network of teachers who will provide live, one-on-one online instruction to students from Pre-K through High School in the United States.

How Our Agency Works

Once you successfully complete our hiring process, you will become part of the Anchor Executive Services teacher network.

Teachers remain on our roster and are matched with students as new clients enroll. When a family signs up, we will assign a teacher based on the student's grade level, subject needs, and the teacher's availability.

Student enrollments vary. Some families may need support for only a few weeks, while others may continue for several months or longer. Because of this, hours are not guaranteed and will depend on client demand and your availability.

Teachers are paid weekly for completed teaching sessions.

Responsibilities

- Teach live one-on-one virtual classes.
- Follow each student's school curriculum and lesson plan to ensure instruction aligns with what they are learning in school.
- Help students understand concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for quizzes and tests.
- Create an engaging and professional learning environment.
- Communicate professionally with parents and the Anchor Executive Services management team.
- Submit a brief progress update after each session.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree (Education or related field preferred)
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience
- Excellent English communication skills
- Quiet home office
- Stable high-speed internet
- Laptop or desktop computer with webcam and headset
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Dependable, organized, and punctual

Preferred Qualifications

- Licensed Teacher
- Experience teaching online
- Experience teaching the U.S. curriculum
- ESL teaching experience

Compensation

- Starting at $10 USD per hour
- Higher pay available for licensed or specialized teachers
- Weekly payments

Teaching through Anchor Executive Services is a professional commitment. We are entrusted with helping children succeed academically, and we expect every teacher to provide high-quality instruction, arrive on time, communicate professionally, and consistently support each student's progress.

This position is intended for experienced educators who are passionate about teaching. If you are simply looking for a side hobby or are unable to commit to providing excellent instruction, this position may not be the right fit.

Teacher performance will be reviewed regularly based on professionalism, reliability, parent feedback, student progress, and overall teaching quality. Teachers who consistently do not meet our standards may be removed from our teacher network, and their students may be reassigned.
