We are a growing US-based family-owned automotive-repair organization looking to add a new member to our accounting/bookkeeping team. We’re excited to welcome a dedicated and detail-oriented General Accountant to our growing team! This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for someone who is highly proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and enjoys owning the day-to-day accounting process.

The role follows a 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (US Eastern Time) schedule and offers the chance to work closely with the team in managing daily accounting operations, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting reporting and compliance needs. Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts using QuickBooks Online
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations
Process payroll, prepare payroll-related journal entries, and coordinate with external payroll providers
Prepare and support month-end and year-end close activities
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements
Monitor expenses and ensure proper classification and cost allocation
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable tax regulations
Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for tax filings
Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date financial records

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
CPA is a plus
3–4 years of hands-on accounting experience
US client experience is a plus, but not required
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and familiarity with third party QBO tools
Passion for learning and process improvement
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively

Position Details:
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Long-term commitment only
Work hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Eastern Time
