JOB OVERVIEW

We are a fast-growing Danish e-commerce brand selling children's products on Shopify. We're looking for a designer who genuinely cares about brand consistency, typography, colors and clean design - and who is also comfortable letting test data have the final word.

Here's what that means in practice: you'll design beautiful, brand-aligned pages and elements for our store, and then we test them. Sometimes your favorite version will win. Sometimes a version you find less elegant will convert better, and that version goes live - and you get to design a new, better-looking challenger for the next round. If that sounds like a fun game rather than a frustration, you'll love it here.

Who we are:
We are a small, fully remote team of five, working closely together every day in Slack. We have a weekly tea ---------- eting where everyone joins, and despite the distance it genuinely feels like a team - people help each other, celebrate wins together, and nobody is left alone with a problem. Several of our tea ---------- mbers are based in the Philippines and have been with us for a long time.

We have high expectations and we're honest about that - but we match them with real flexibility (you largely plan your own hours), stable long-term work, and a leader who invests time in helping you grow. If you do good work here, you will be seen, appreciated, and given more responsibility.

What you'll do:

Design and improve store pages, sections and campaign elements - always on-brand, always clean
Turn your designs into real A/B tests and let the data d ---------- what stays
Keep the entire store visually consistent as we add products and campaigns
Own the theme technically: changes in theme copies, deploy checklist, tracking verified after every change
Produce SEO blog content and visuals using AI workflows (Claude/ChatGPT) - secondary priority
Be our go-to when something on the site looks or behaves wrong

Requirements:

Strong visual/design skills with real webshop examples you can show
Solid Shopify experience (themes, sections, basic Liquid)
You have experienced data overruling one of your own designs - and you can tell us about it
Confident using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) as your daily execution layer
Excellent written English, self-managing, reliable internet and backup power

Structure: 20 hours/week to start. Transition to full-time within 3-6 months based on results - we define what success looks like together in month 1, so you always know where you stand. We are scaling into new European markets from 2027, and this role grows with us.

In your video introduction (see below), please also tell us about ONE time where test data went against a design you personally loved: what the data said, and what you did next. This is the most important part of your application.

HOW TO APPLY

Send your application as an email to: ----------

We do NOT read applications sent through the OnlineJobs message system. If you apply through OnlineJobs directly, your application will not be seen. The only way to be considered is to send your application to the email above.

Your email MUST include:

1. Subject line: The subject line of your email must contain the word UNICORN. Not in the body of the email, in the subject line. This tells us you've actually read the full job posting. Applications without UNICORN in the subject line will be archived and not opened.

2. A Google Drive link to your video introduction (2-3 minutes max). Introduce yourself in English. Tell us what you like to do when you're not working. Then tell us why you're excited about this role and why you believe you're the right fit. This is how we evaluate your English and communication skills. Do NOT use a script. If we can tell you're reading from a script, your application will be disqualified, and yes, we can tell. This must be a Google Drive link, not Loom or any other platform. It should also be the only link in your email.

3. Your Tony Robbins DISC profile attached as a PDF. Take it for free here: ---------- /disc. It must be the Tony Robbins assessment specifically. Attach the PDF directly to your email, do not share it as a link.

4. A screenshot of your typing speed attached to the email. Go to ---------- , complete one round of the English typing test, and attach a screenshot showing your WPM and accuracy.

5. If you have a resume, attach it as a PDF.

Applications that do not include all of the above will not be considered. Read carefully, because applications that miss any of these steps will be archived without review. It sounds hard and strict, but I promise we are a friendly team and you will love working with us :)
