JOB OVERVIEW

About us
We're a men's stone pendant jewelry brand based in Amsterdam, selling across Northern Europe. Our look is warm, premium, and editorial — think quiet luxury, not loud discount graphics. We run paid ads on Meta and need a designer who can both execute our direction and think for themselves — someone who studies what's working and brings new ideas, not just someone who waits for a brief.
The role
You'll design static image ads for Facebook and Instagram. Part of the work follows our proven templates and instructions — split layouts, text overlays, offer blocks. But we also expect you to be proactive: study top-performing ads on Meta (ours, competitors', and the wider market), spot what's working, and bring fresh design concepts on your own initiative. We want a creative partner who improves our ads over time, not just a pair of hands.
What you'll do

Design static ad creatives (1080×1350 and square) from supplied photography
Execute our templates and briefs precisely when given direction
Proactively research and analyze winning ads on Meta, and pitch new design concepts based on what's converting
Test fresh layouts, hooks, and offer treatments — then iterate on winners
Keep every asset on-brand: warm, minimal, premium — never cluttered or "salesy"
Deliver organized, correctly named files on a batch schedule

Requirements

Strong portfolio of static ad or social creative work (please link it)
Proven experience with DTC / e-commerce or paid social (Meta) ad creative
Experience designing for fashion, jewelry, or premium/luxury brands
Fluent in Photoshop, Figma, Canva, or Photopea — your choice, as long as output is clean and pixel-precise (ideally output in Figma)
Good eye for typography, spacing, and layout
Proactive and autonomous — comes with ideas, doesn't wait to be told every step
Genuine interest in ad performance and what makes creative convert
Reliable, communicative, comfortable with a recurring part-time workload
Good written English

Hours & rate
Part-time, recurring batches. [Rate: to be discussed / see salary field]
