JOB OVERVIEW
Overview
We are seeking a results-driven SEO Specialist with strong expertise across technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy and link building. This role will be responsible for driving organic growth, improving paid campaign performance, and strengthening the overall authority and visibility of our digital presence across search engines.
The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, creative content strategy, and analytical acumen, ensuring that both organic and paid efforts align with broader business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical SEO + AI SEO
• Conduct comprehensive website audits to identify and resolve crawl, indexation, and site structure issues.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, mobile performance, and overall site speed.
• Implement and maintain robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and canonical tags for proper indexation.
• Collaborate with web developers on schema markup, internal linking, and URL architecture improvements.
• Manage redirects, site migrations, and ensure minimal ranking impact post-deployment.
• Monitor and maintain search engine visibility, fixing crawl errors and monitoring coverage in Google Search Console.
• Support international SEO and multi-language site optimization where required.
2. On-Page SEO
• Conduct detailed keyword research and mapping for all priority pages.
• Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headings, and image alt text for target keywords.
• Ensure content is aligned with search intent, keyword clusters, and user engagement best practices.
• Audit and enhance internal linking structure for optimal equity flow and crawl depth.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking to identify new ranking opportunities.
• Collaborate with UX/design teams to improve landing page performance and conversions.
3. Content Strategy & Writing
• Plan, write, and edit SEO-optimized content for blogs, service pages, guides, and landing pages.
• Conduct topic and content gap analysis to expand keyword coverage and topical authority.
• Ensure all content adheres to E-E-A-T and brand voice standards.
• Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and videographers to produce high-performing content assets.
• Use performance data to optimize and refresh existing content for improved rankings and engagement.
4. Link Building & Outreach
• Develop and execute a comprehensive link-building strategy to improve domain authority and page authority.
• Identify and pursue high-quality backlink opportunities through guest posting, partnerships, digital PR, and content promotion.
• Conduct backlink audits using tools such as Ahrefs or SEMrush to identify toxic or low-quality links.
• Manage outreach campaigns to bloggers, journalists, and industry websites to secure relevant backlinks.
• Monitor anchor text distribution, backlink growth, and link quality over time.
• Collaborate with the content team to create linkable assets (e.g., infographics, research reports, case studies).
6. Analytics & Reporting
• Track organic and paid performance through Google Analytics (GA4), Google Ads, Search Console, and Looker Studio dashboards.
• Generate detailed monthly and quarterly reports with actionable insights.
• Monitor keyword movements, traffic trends, bounce rates, and conversion data.
• Evaluate the impact of SEO and SEM initiatives on overall business KPIs.
• Stay current with Google algorithm updates and implement best practices proactively.
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, IT, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in SEO (technical, on-page, content, link building) + AI SEO EXPERIENCE
• Proven track record improving organic traffic, keyword rankings, and domain authority.
• Demonstrated success managing Google Ads and Bing Ads campaigns with measurable ROI.
• Strong content writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft engaging, SEO-optimized content.
• Proficiency with industry tools: Google Analytics (GA4), Search Console, Google Ads, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and PageSpeed Insights.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or HubSpot.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills.
• Strong project management and time management capabilities.
