JOB OVERVIEW

We run a network of ~30 YouTube channels (explainer, story-recap, and gaming lore content) producing high volume video content every week. We need a full-time **YouTube thumbnail designer** who can handle up to 10 thumbnails a day across multiple channel styles.

**Reference our current thumbnail style:**

This isn't one style on repeat. You'll be switching between clean explainer-style graphic design, dark/disturbing reveal thumbnails, and story-recap illustrated thumbnails — all have underlying psychology, different visual execution each time. If you're only strong in one lane, this role won't fit.

**The role:**
- Up to 10 YouTube thumbnails/day, 6 days/week
- ~25-30 hours/week total, deadline-based output not clock-watched
- Working from scripts and loglines, not finished video — you need to grasp the content fast and design around it
- Tools: Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or Illustrator — whatever gets clean 4K results
- All final files delivered at 3840x2160 (4K minimum)

**Pay:** $400/month base. Performance bonuses on top — if your thumbnails are pulling strong click-through rate and views, we pay for it and show you the data behind it.

**Growth path:** We're actively scaling and adding new YouTube channels every month. The designer who proves themselves here becomes our **Design Manager**, running a growing design team as we expand. This is not a dead-end task job.

**To apply, you MUST:**
1. Use the subject line: "10 A DAY" — anything else gets deleted unread.
2. Send your **3-4 best thumbnails** — graphic design work, any niche, doesn't need to be YouTube specific.
3. For EACH one, a short breakdown of the **psychology behind it** — why does it earn the click? What's the curiosity gap? What's the viewer thinking in the split second before clicking? We care far more about you understanding *why* a thumbnail works than what software you used to make it.
4. One-line answer: what separates a good thumbnail from a thumbnail that actually performs?

No psychology breakdown = no response, regardless of how clean your design work is.
