We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and fast-paced Healthcare Staffing & Registry Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our client healthcare facilities and our pool of registry clinicians (RTs, RNs, LVNs, CNAs, and Allied Health professionals). You will manage daily scheduling requests, ensure 100% credentialing compliance, and handle real-time staffing adjustments to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate and schedule registry clinicians (RNs, LVNs, CNAs, Allied Health) to effectively meet daily and contract facility staffing requests.
- Communication Hub: Serve as the primary point of contact to communicate shift details, confirmations, cancellations, and real-time updates clearly with both clinicians and facility managers.
- Compliance & Credentialing: Maintain highly accurate clinician profiles, credentials, and compliance documentation. Proactively monitor expirations for professional licenses, certifications, and medical requirements.
- Logistics & Problem Solving: Manage last-minute staffing needs, unexpected call-offs, and immediate replacements in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all clinician assignments strictly meet facility-specific requirements and state/federal regulatory standards.
- Data Management: Accurately document all scheduling activity, shift adjustments, and communication logs within the workforce management system.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with recruitment, compliance, and operations teams to streamline onboarding and maximize staff readiness.
- Clinician Retention: Build strong, trust-based relationships with our healthcare professionals through consistent, supportive communication and prompt issue resolution.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience specifically in healthcare staffing, registry coordination, or healthcare scheduling.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of medical terminology, nursing credentials (RN, LVN, CNA), and healthcare compliance standards.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience working with scheduling software, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), or workforce management systems.
- Soft Skills: Outstanding communication, sharp multitasking abilities, and a calm-under-pressure demeanor to tackle last-minute schedule changes.
