JOB OVERVIEW

AI Video Editor (Anime Style) - Micro-Project

We are looking for a highly creative, technical, and disciplined Video Editor to transform raw educational and clinical footage into high-octane, dramatic anime-style content. You will be responsible for taking prerecorded clinical clips and using AI tools, sound design, and aggressive pacing to make ordinary facts look like an intense episode of Jujutsu Kaisen or Death Note.

Key Responsibilities:
* AI Transformation: Process clinical footage and dramatic facial expressions (sometimes recording your own) through [DomoAI] to create high-quality anime renders.
* Text-to-Video B-Roll: Generate cinematic, abstract anime cutaways using AI text prompts to visually explain complex concepts. Or record your own and convert to anime.
* High-Energy Editing: Apply fast-paced cuts, crash zooms, impact frames, speed ramps, and kinetic pop-up captions.
* Premium Sound Design: Source and layer intense shonen-style audio effects (whooshes, bass drops, metallic pings) to drive the comedic and dramatic timing.
* Asset Management: Organize raw files, drafts, and finalized assets securely.
* Video editing: Creating a final engaging video clip that puts together all the pieces in a way that takes inspiration from anime, whilst being educational

Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience editing viral, high-retention short-form video (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
* Deep familiarity with anime culture, shonen tropes, ---------- s, and comedic pacing.
* Experience or strong willingness to use AI generation tools, mainly DomoAI, Runway
* Mastery of video software (CapCut Pro, Premiere Pro, or After Effects).
* Exceptional attention to detail and ability to hit tight deadlines independently.
* Proactivity & ability to take initiative: not requiring spoon-feeding for each task. Taking ownership and not being afraid of failure.
* Previous experience in creating anime style clips is a bonus.
