JOB OVERVIEW

The Persnickety Bride is seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior E-commerce Operations & Growth Manager to oversee the daily operation and continued growth of our Shopify e-commerce business. This individual will play a key role in increasing website traffic, improving search engine rankings, enhancing the customer shopping experience, and driving measurable online sales growth.

This is not an entry-level virtual assistant position. We are seeking a proactive professional who takes ownership, works independently, and is committed to achieving measurable business results.

Primary Responsibilities:

Shopify Store Management
-Manage and maintain our Shopify 2.0 website
-Upload and optimize products
-Organize collections and navigation
-Build landing pages
-Improve the customer shopping experience
-Monitor inventory accuracy and site functionality

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
-Perform technical SEO improvements
-Optimize product pages, collections, and blog content
-Improve metadata and internal linking
-Implement structured data (Schema)
-Monitor Google Search Console
-Improve Core Web Vitals and overall website performance

Content Development
-Write SEO-optimized product descriptions
-Create collection page content
-Develop educational blog articles and bridal buying guides
-Utilize AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency while maintaining brand quality

Google Platforms & Analytics
-Manage Google Merchant Center
-Monitor Google Analytics 4
-Maintain Google Search Console
-Track website performance and recommend improvements
-Produce weekly performance reports

Email Marketing
-Build and manage Klaviyo campaigns
-Create automated customer journeys
-Manage abandoned cart, welcome, and post-purchase email flows
-Improve customer engagement and retention

Conversion Rate Optimization
-Analyze customer behavior
-Recommend website improvements
-Improve conversion rates
-Increase average order value
-Reduce cart abandonment

Business Operations
-Identify opportunities for improvement
-Develop standard operating procedures
-Manage projects independently
-Communicate progress proactively
-Recommend new technologies and efficiencies

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:

-Minimum three (3) years of Shopify management experience
-Strong knowledge of Shopify 2.0
-Advanced understanding of SEO best practices
-Experience with Google Analytics 4
-Experience with Google Search Console
-Experience with Google Merchant Center
-Experience with Klaviyo email marketing
-Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
-Strong organizational and time-management skills
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-High attention to detail
-Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred experience includes luxury retail, bridal, fashion, apparel, jewelry, or lifestyle brands.
