I run a YouTube Shorts channel producing Roblox-style animated comedy skits. I'm looking for one person to take each video from start to finish — animate it AND edit it into a publish-ready Short.
Watch these channels first — this is EXACTLY the style, energy and comedic timing I expect:
What I provide for every video:
• A short script / shot-by-shot storyboard (the gag is already written — you execute it)
• A complete Blender asset pack: rigged characters, environments, and an animation library
• Reference notes for sound/music mood
What you deliver — a finished, publish-ready Short:
Animation:
• A fully animated 15-45 second skit using the provided assets
• Vertical 9:16, 1080x1920, 30 or 60 fps
• Exaggerated, snappy cartoon animation — fast poses, strong reactions, physical comedy
• No dialogue, no lipsync — the humor is visual
Editing (same video, same person):
• Sound design: impact sounds, whooshes, cartoon SFX, and trending
• Background music matched to the gag's energy
• On-screen text/captions in the style of the reference channels (big, bold, readable on mobile)
• Final export ready to upload
Key skills:
• Blender character animation (animating rigged characters — NOT just modeling)
• Short-form editing: sound design, captions, pacing for YouTube Shorts / TikTok
• A feel for comedic timing — this matters more than technical polish. A technically perfect animation with a flat joke doesn't work.
• You follow what's trending in the Shorts / kids-gaming space and know which sounds are currently viral
• Reliability: a fixed weekly schedule and consistent delivery
Volume & terms:
2-3 videos per week, long-term, stable ongoing work
Fixed price per finished video (assets are provided to you)
We start with 3 PAID pilot videos at an agreed rate. If the quality, timing and editing are right, we move to a steady weekly arrangement.
To apply, please send:
1. 1-2 samples of character animation you made (Roblox-style is a big plus)
2. 1-2 samples of short-form edits with sound design (can be the same videos, if you both animated and edited them)
3. Your price per finished 30-45s video, assuming assets are provided
4. How many videos per week you can realistically handle
5. Confirm you work in Blender
Applications that mention something specific about the reference channels (not a copy-paste pitch) go to the top of my list.
