JOB OVERVIEW

I am hiring a Junior Virtual Assistant to support my fast-growing Amazon Influencer brand that creates in-depth product review videos to help shoppers make confident buying decisions.
This is an entry to mid level, part-time role with a flexible schedule. I am looking for someone organized, eager to learn, and ready to grow with the business. You'll work directly with me, the creator, to keep operations running smoothly across content organization, publishing, brand outreach, and more.

ABOUT Life at the Fork -
Life at the Fork is a husband-and-wife content creation brand based in Kentucky, where we share authentic product reviews, everyday adventures, and life on and around the golf course. Along with our three doodles, we create engaging videos for Amazon, YouTube, and social media that focus on honest opinions, relatable experiences, and helping people make informed purchasing decisions. We’re growing quickly and are looking for a detail-oriented virtual assistant to help us stay organized while we continue building a fun, trustworthy brand our audience enjoys following.

HOW THIS ROLE WORKS — 30-DAY PAID TRAINING PERIOD

All new hires begin with a paid 30-day training period. This is your opportunity to learn my systems, workflows, and standards — and for me to see how you work. At the end of the 30 days, I'll make a final hiring decision based on your performance, reliability, and fit with the team. If my growth does escalate, more hours will be added on, if you are available.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Core Responsibilities (required from day one):
Organize and manage raw video footage and project files. This includes editing of raw video footage for my Amazon storefront, YouTube, and TikTok.
Creation of thumbnails
Creation of Pinterest Pins
Optimize YouTube video titles and descriptions
Recreate thumbnails for international video platforms as needed and publish.
Upload content across platforms in either draft or published format depending on platform (Amazon, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.)
Miscellaneous tasks: help with Benable when other tasks are done.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive — this is the most important quality we're looking for
Comfortable editing videos
Comfortable converting videos to tiktok format
Comfortable using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Canva) or eager to learn
Excellent written and spoken English
Reliable internet (minimum 100 Mbps download / 100 Mbps upload) and a capable computer
Available for at least 1 hour overlap during U.S. Eastern Time for daily check-ins (7PM PHT)

A Plus (not required):
Any prior experience as a Virtual Assistant or working with US-based clients
Experience working with influencers, brands, or Amazon sellers
Familiarity with video editing tools
Experience with content scheduling platforms or spreadsheets

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Part-Time - $4.25 / hr
Flexible working hours

WORK HOURS

Minimum 15 Hours Per Week
Flexible schedule with 1-hour required overlap during U.S. Eastern Time for daily sync (7PM PHT)
