JOB OVERVIEW

E-Commerce Merchandiser

Position Summary

We are seeking an organized, data-driven E-Commerce Merchandiser to manage and optimize our online product catalog across multiple marketplaces and e-commerce platforms. This role is responsible for creating compelling product listings, maintaining accurate product data, improving search visibility, coordinating launches, and driving online sales through merchandising best practices.

The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, enjoys working with product data, understands online shopper behavior, and is comfortable analyzing performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities
Create, optimize, and maintain product listings across multiple online marketplaces and websites.
Write and optimize product titles, bullet points, descriptions, and backend keywords.
Manage product images, videos, A+ content, comparison charts, and other digital assets.
Ensure product data, specifications, pricing, and inventory information remain accurate.
Coordinate new product launches and seasonal merchandising initiatives.
Monitor product performance including traffic, conversion rates, sales, and search rankings.
Identify opportunities to improve product discoverability through SEO and marketplace best practices.
Execute promotions, bundles, cross-sells, and merchandising campaigns.
Monitor competitor pricing, assortment, and merchandising strategies.
Work closely with marketing, product development, purchasing, customer service, and operations teams.
Troubleshoot listing issues, suppressed listings, catalog errors, and content compliance problems.
Generate reports and provide recommendations to improve online sales performance.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising or marketplace management.
Experience with marketplaces such as Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart Marketplace, eBay, Shopify, or other major e-commerce platforms.
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and performance data.
