JOB OVERVIEW

We are an e-commerce company looking for a data-driven Product Researcher who specializes in finding winning products specifically for Google Shopping and Google Search Ads.

Most researchers look for viral TikTok products. We don’t. We look for products based on search intent, high margins, and market gaps on Google.

For this project, we are hiring 3 freelancers to complete a first batch order of 25 high-potential products. After this first batch, we will evaluate the quality, data accuracy, and insights of all 3 researchers to select 1 person for a long-term, ongoing partnership.

If you know how to use the Google Keyword Planner, analyze Google Shopping competition, and find high-perceived-value products on AliExpress/CJ Dropshipping, this is the job for you.

Key Responsibilities for the 25 Product Batch:

--Find 25 high-potential dropshipping products that fit our strict Google Ads criteria.
--Analyze search volume, trends, and average Cost Per Click (CPC) using Google tools.
--Competitor analysis: Check the Google Shopping grid for pricing, review gaps, and image quality.
--Analyze margins: Find products with a retail price between €30 and €100 on the Google Shopping grid. Ensure the competitor's selling price is at least 3x the supplier cost (Product + Shipping cost from AliExpress/CJ Dropshipping) so we have enough margin to cover Google Ads costs.
--Organize all data clearly in a Google Sheet.

Requirements:

--Proven experience with product research specifically for Google Ads (Shopping/PMax).
--Good in English and highly organized.
--Expert level with Google Keyword Planner and Google Trends.
--Analytical mindset: You look at numbers, not just "cool" products.

Apply

To filter out automated applications, please answer the following two questions at the very start of your application:
What is your favorite color?

What is your price proposal? (fixed price) to find and deliver the first batch of 25 products according to the criteria above?

Briefly explain your experience with Google Product Research and let us know what tools you currently use. We are ready to hire 3 candidates immediately this week.

Best regards,

Bart Konings
