JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil / Industrial CAD Draftsperson to prepare a professional Site Layout Plan for an industrial waste recycling facility located in Western Australia.

This is a one-time project with the possibility of future drafting work.

Scope of Work

You will be provided with:

Existing building floor plan (PDF)
Equipment layout and dimensions
Site photographs
Layout mark-ups and detailed instructions

Your responsibilities include:

Convert the existing PDF into a clean and editable AutoCAD (DWG) drawing.
Prepare a professional Site Layout Plan suitable for submission to a government authority.
Produce a clear, accurate and well-presented drawing using Australian drafting standards.
Add all required dimensions, labels, legends, north point and title block.
Clearly identify:
Building layout
Equipment locations
Waste receiving area
Waste sorting area
Temporary material holding areas
Hook Lift Truck movement path
Forklift and Bobcat operating routes
Emergency exits
Fire extinguishers and emergency equipment
Safety signage and operational zones
Deliverables
Editable AutoCAD DWG
PDF Drawing (High Resolution)
Requirements

Applicants must have:

Minimum 5 years' experience in AutoCAD drafting.
Previous experience preparing Industrial Site Layout Plans, Civil Site Plans or Factory/Warehouse Layouts.
Strong understanding of professional drafting standards.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to communicate in English.
Ability to complete the project within the agreed timeframe.
Highly Preferred Experience

Experience with one or more of the following:

Waste Management Facilities
Recycling Facilities
Material Recovery Facilities (MRF)
Transfer Stations
Industrial Warehouses
Manufacturing Plants
Civil Infrastructure Projects
Application Requirements

At least 2 examples of previous Site Layout Plans, Factory Layouts, Warehouse Layouts or Civil Drawings.
Your estimated completion time.
Your fixed project price.

Applications without a portfolio or relevant drawing samples will not be considered.

Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience preparing drawings for Australian projects or Australian engineering consultants.
