JOB OVERVIEW

Hi there,
We are an Australian-based fishing & outdoors media company (established 2011) producing a high-quality print/digital magazine and video show content. We are looking for a highly capable, part-time Creative Multimedia Specialist to handle our monthly print magazine layout, monthly video editing, and subsequent content distribution (social media and web updates).
This is a recurring, monthly part-time role requiring approximately 10 hours per week (32 to 50 hours max per month). We have clear systems, clean assets, and established templates ready to hand over.

We are looking for a highly capable, part-time Creative Multimedia Specialist to handle our monthly print magazine layout, monthly video editing, and subsequent content distribution (social media and web updates). Core Responsibilities:
1. PRINT & EMAG LAYOUT (1x Per Month):
• Take raw text articles from a provided Word document and flow them cleanly into our pre-built Adobe InDesign templates.
• Work from a provided monthly layout flat-plan map (labeled sequentially A, B, C, D, etc.) to know exactly where text and image assets belong.
• Take raw images, perform necessary colour/exposure corrections in Adobe Photoshop, and place them into the layout.
• Manage typography, paragraph styles, and alignment based on our established magazine style.
• Export the final print-ready files based on our strict export settings.
• Convert the finalized layout into a digital e-magazine layout.

2. VIDEO EDITING (2x Per Month):
• Edit 2 high-quality videos per month.
• We provide all raw video content and clear asset drops.
• You will be given exact reference links/examples of our existing style to match pacing, audio balancing, and graphics.

3. WEB & SOCIAL DISTRIBUTION:
• Extract content from the finished magazine and videos to create native social media posts for Instagram and Facebook.
• Convert magazine articles/video topics into formatted blog posts and upload them directly to our website.

Required Skills:
• Absolute mastery of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Advanced, high-level experience navigating the back end of Meta Business Suite, Meta Business Manager, and asset sharing/scheduling.
• High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience with CMS/Website formatting (WordPress).
• Great communication, adherence to strict monthly deadlines, and a solid internet connection for heavy file transfers.

BONUS SKILL (HIGHLY VALUED)
• High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for handling vector graphics, logos, and advanced layout assets is highly valued and will put your application at the top of the list.
