We are a Michigan independent P&C agency looking for an experienced operations VA to own the day-to-day backend
of the agency — endorsements, quoting, remarketing, inbox, and client communication. We need someone who can
nearly immediately begin updating quotes, reviewing options, and
bring on licensed agents, you'll also train and onboard them. This is not an entry-level role.
What You'll Do
Triage the agency inbox daily — route requests, respond to routine inquiries, flag urgent items
Process policy endorsements (vehicles, drivers, mortgagees, coverage changes) through carrier portals
Run complete auto and home quotes in EZLynx — household build, prefill reconciliation, full carrier walk
Work the remarketing queue daily: re-quote renewals, identify savings, flag accounts at risk
Cross-sell monoline clients — auto-only, home-only accounts
Call carrier CSR and underwriting lines to resolve issues and confirm bind requirements
Log all activity in EZLynx; send a daily end-of-day summary
Document workflows and train new licensed agents as the agency grows
Requirements
5+ years P&C personal lines insurance experience — auto and homeowners inside and out
EZLynx: deep proficiency — quoting, endorsements, retention center, audits
Experience with U.S.-based independent insurance agencies
Exceptional written and spoken English is VITAL
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency
Google Workspace, Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign or equivalent
Own cell phone for client and carrier calls
Backup internet (mobile hotspot or secondary ISP) — required

High-Availability Schedule: Because this position offers top-tier compensation, we require a professional who can commit to a high-availability schedule. This includes a 1-to-2-hour inbox triage on Saturday and Sunday mornings, as well as working modified/partial shifts on major U.S. holidays that fall on Mondays (such as Memorial Day and Labor Day) to keep our operations running smoothly.
Not Required but preferred
Familiarity with our carriers: Hanover, Travelers, Progressive, Nationwide, AAA, Liberty Mutual, Bristol West,
Universal P&C, Wolverine Mutual.
Commercial lines experience (ACORD forms, BOP quoting)
Experience training or mentoring insurance staff
AI tools experience — candidates who actively use AI will be considered for compensation above the posted range
Compensation
$1,500–$2,000/month depending on experience, paid weekly.
Starting salary is based entirely on your depth of U.S. P&C experience, EZLynx proficiency, and your willingness to handle our premium high-availability schedule (weekend triage and modified Monday holiday coverage).
Candidates selected for an interview will be required to demonstrate their EZLynx expertise prior to a
phone interview. Be prepared to show — not just describe — what you can do in the system.
