The Agent Onboarding Specialist is responsible for delivering a high-touch onboarding and support experience for newly recruited agents and agencies. This role serves as the primary point of contact throughout the contracting and appointment process, ensuring agents receive timely communication, contracting assistance, follow-up support, and training coordination while maintaining accurate workflow documentation in AgencyBloc and other internal systems. This position also supports Medicare contracting and carrier appointment activities, helping agents navigate certification requirements, Ready-to-Sell status, and carrier-specific onboarding processes.
The ideal candidate will be bilingual (Spanish), organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional customer service while managing multiple timelines and follow-up activities. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the gold-standard "white glove" service experience established by The Brokerage, Inc.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-level onboarding support to newly recruited agents and agencies
• Serve as the primary point of contact during the contracting and appointment process
• Conduct follow-up calls and
• Answer agent questions regarding contracting, onboarding, Medicare certification requirements, and training opportunities
• Monitor workflows, tasks, and onboarding statuses within AgencyBloc
• Verify carrier Ready-To-Sell (RTS) approvals and update writing numbers and appointment statuses
• Track Medicare certification, contracting, and appointment requirements to support agent readiness
• Work with the Contracting Department and carrier representatives to resolve onboarding or appointment issues
• Schedule one-on-one meetings or support sessions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation, notes, reminders, and follow-up tasks in AgencyBloc
• Assist leadership with onboarding policies, procedures, and workflow improvements
Qualifications
• Bilingual Spanish
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organization, multitasking, and follow-through abilities
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience in customer service, onboarding, administration, insurance support, or Medicare contracting preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and
