JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a part-time B2B/B2G Research and Business Development Assistant to help us research opportunities, organize leads, support follow-up, and keep our sales pipeline moving.

Monitor assigned bid portals, purchasing websites, agency websites, and public opportunity sources
Search for opportunities related to emergency communications, radio interoperability, LMR, SATCOM, HazMat communications, CBRN communications, confined space communications, vehicle intercoms, rescue communications, and command post communications
Save links, due dates, buyer names, locations, and opportunity details
Summarize opportunities in plain English and explain why they may or may not fit our company
Update Odoo CRM or spreadsheets with leads, follow-up dates, product interest, lead source, quote status, notes, and next steps
Help organize old leads, old quotes, inbound inquiries, and follow-up lists
Monitor competitor websites and messaging from companies such as Motorola, SyTech, Base Camp Connect, Cubic Vocality, and REDCOM

Prepare a short weekly report showing new accounts researched, contacts added, opportunities reviewed, relevant opportunities flagged, old leads needing follow-up, competitor observations, and questions needing review

Experience with government contracting, bid portals, RFP tracking, procurement research, proposal coordination, CRM support, or Odoo is helpful, but not required. Strong research ability, written English, organization, and judgment are more important.

We will train the right person on our products, markets, CRM process, and search process.

Required skills:

Comfortable using Google Sheets or Excel
Able to summarize information clearly

Helpful experience:
