SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHIC DESIGNER — HIGH VOLUME CAROUSELS

We're By Uncut — a founder-led content agency in Sydney, Australia. We build personal brands for business owners through short-form video and scroll-stopping carousels. Fast pace, high standards, real clients who care what goes out under their name.

THE ROLE
You design social media carousels and static posts at volume, and help manage the content that goes out across our clients' Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and ---------- . This is not a slow, one-design-a-day role. On a normal day you'll produce around 6–7 carousels (6 slides each) — clean, on-brand, ready to post. Speed AND quality. Not one or the other.

You will be:
- Designing 6–7 carousels a day in Canva Pro, on-brand, every time
- Building static posts, story templates, and supporting graphics
- Helping schedule and manage content across client accounts
- Staying ahead of what's trending and bringing ideas, not just executing them

WHO YOU ARE
- You live and breathe trends. You know what's working on IG and TikTok THIS WEEK, not last year
- You know trending audio and current content styles cold
- You're fast in Canva Pro and use it properly — Bulk Create, Brand Kit, the lot
- You write and check work in flawless Australian English. You catch your own mistakes before anyone else does
- You've worked somewhere fast-paced and can prove you deliver volume without dropping quality
- You have reliable internet and a backup plan for power/internet (no excuses on delivery days)
- You can work overlapping Sydney hours (AEST)

HOW TO APPLY
Applications that skip a step get deleted. No exceptions.

1. Start your message with the words ---------- . If those two words aren't the first thing I read, I won't read the rest.

2. Record a short video (2–3 mins). Introduce yourself, then SHARE YOUR SCREEN and build one carousel slide in Canva so I can see how you work and how fast you are. Drop the Loom/video link.

3. Send your portfolio — specifically carousels and social content. Not just logos. A cohesive body of work.

4. Send me 3 trends working RIGHT NOW this week (with links) and one line on why each works. Then name 3 trending audios this week and what content they suit.

5. Australian English test. Rewrite this sentence correctly, fixing every error:
"Our team specializes in creating viral content that maximizes engagement and helps our clients realize there full potential."

6. Tell me which Canva Pro features you use every day.

7. Attach a screenshot of your internet speed test (speedtest.net).

8. Confirm you can work AEST hours and that you have backup power/internet.

9. State your monthly salary expectation.
