Marketing Operations Specialist — Full-Time, Social Media, Advertising Support, SEO, PR & Campaign Coordination
Job Overview
We are looking for a full-time Marketing Operations Specialist to support our Marketing Director, Shaun, in managing and improving our advertising and marketing operation.
Our marketing goal is simple and ambitious: we want everyone in Southern California to know who we are.
We have an amazing company that produces amazing results. Our Google and Yelp reviews show that our customers trust us, appreciate our work, and are happy with the results we deliver. Now we need the right marketing team to help get that message out to more potential customers.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, resourceful, and excited to help build a stronger brand presence across Southern California, with future expansion plans into Arizona and Nevada.
We work in residential solar, commercial solar, battery storage, service, roofing-related work, and government contracting opportunities, so this role will touch many different types of marketing projects.
You will work closely with our Marketing Director and other tea
This is a full-time role with long-term potential for the right person.

$5 to $8 per hour, depending on experience and fit.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
- Helping our Marketing Director manage daily marketing and advertising operations
- Managing and scheduling social media posts
- Monitoring comments, messages, and inquiries from potential customers
- Chatting with potential clients and helping move them to the next step
- Helping organize and track advertising campaigns
- Assisting with new ad campaign ideas, messaging, creative direction, and testing
- Helping build brand awareness across Southern California
- Supporting future marketing expansion into Arizona and Nevada
- Working with our SEO specialist to help improve website content, rankings, and local visibility
- Helping coordinate PR opportunities, announcements, community exposure, and local marketing efforts
- Helping promote residential, commercial, and government solar opportunities
- Working with our videographer and video editor to complete video projects
- Helping coordinate content projects such as our Buyer’s Guide video series
- Helping turn customer reviews, project photos, case studies, and completed jobs into marketing content
- Tracking marketing tasks, deadlines, deliverables, and follow-ups
- Helping collect customer stories, photos, reviews, and project highlights
- Helping create and improve marketing SOPs, checklists, and workflows
- Reviewing marketing performance and helping identify opportunities to improve ROAS
- Supporting other marketing, advertising, and operations tasks as needed
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Creative, but also process-driven
- Comfortable managing multiple marketing tasks at the same time
- Strong in written English
- Comfortable chatting with potential customers professionally
- Familiar with social media platforms and content scheduling
- Interested in advertising, lead generation, SEO, PR, brand awareness, and local marketing
- Able to follow direction, but also proactive enough to suggest improvements
- Resourceful and willing to learn
- Comfortable working with a remote team
- Able to communicate clearly and provide updates without needing to be chased
- Excited about helping grow a company’s brand across multiple markets
- Experience That Would Be Helpful
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Social media management

- Residential, commercial, or government-sector marketing
You do not need to be an expert in every area, but you should be eager to learn and capable of helping keep the marketing operation organized and moving forward.
Schedule
This is a full-time position.
Pacific Time availability is strongly preferred, especially for communication with our U.S.-based team.
What We Are Looking For Long-Term
We are building a stronger marketing department and need someone who can grow with us.
The right person will help our Marketing Director stay organized, execute campaigns faster, improve follow-up, coordinate content, and support our company’s larger goal of becoming one of the most recognized solar, battery, and energy companies in Southern California.
From there, we plan to continue expanding into Arizona and Nevada.
We need someone who can help us tell our story, promote our results, highlight our customer reviews, and make sure more residential, commercial, and government customers know who we are and what we can do for them.
