JOB OVERVIEW

We are hiring an experienced Omnisend Email Marketing Specialist to set up the email system for a new Shopify health and wellness store.

This is currently a project-based position with the possibility of ongoing work for email campaigns, optimization, reporting, and additional brands.

Important: Subscription and Retention Experience Required

Our store operates primarily on a subscription model, so experience with subscription retention, recurring revenue, churn reduction, and customer lifecycle marketing is one of the most important requirements for this position.

The ideal candidate should understand how to build and optimize:

-Subscription welcome and onboarding flows
-Upcoming subscription renewal reminders
-Replenishment and reorder reminders
-Failed payment or payment recovery flows
-Subscription cancellation follow-up flows
-Cancellation prevention and save offers
-Customer win-back campaigns
-Cross-sell and upsell flows for active subscribers
-Segments for active, paused, cancelled, at-risk, and churned subscribers
-Retention campaigns designed to increase repeat purchases and customer lifetime value
-Experience working with Shopify subscription apps and understand how subscription data connects with Omnisend

Your Responsibilities

Set up and fully test:

-Order confirmation emails
-Shipping confirmation emails
-Welcome email series
-Abandoned cart flow
-Abandoned checkout flow
-Browse abandonment flow
-Post-purchase follow-up flow
-Replenishment or reorder reminders
-Customer win-back flow
-Subscription retention and cancellation follow-up emails

You will also set up:
-Email signup popup
-Welcome discount delivery
-Customer segmentation
-Subscriber and non-subscriber segments
-First-time and repeat customer segments
-Active and cancelled subscription segments
-Engaged and unengaged contact segments
-Product-purchase segments
-VIP and high-value customer segments

Qualifications:

-Previous Omnisend and Shopify experience is required
-Strong ecommerce email automation experience
-Strong segmentation knowledge
-Experience with health, wellness, beauty, or supplement brands is preferred
-Subscription-brand experience is a major advantage
-Organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate clearly
-Must be dependable and able to meet agreed deadlines
