About Us: We are a U.S.-based web design, digital marketing, and SEO agency with over 16+ years of experience helping businesses grow through organic search and lead generation.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SEO Manager with a proven track record of ranking home service businesses in competitive U.S. local markets.

About the Role:

This is not a strategy-only position.

We are looking for a hands-on SEO leader who can actively manage, execute, optimize, and improve SEO campaigns across multiple client accounts while overseeing SEO tea ---------- mbers.

You must be comfortable working directly inside websites, identifying technical and content issues, implementing solutions, and driving measurable improvements in rankings, traffic, and lead generation.

If you have successfully ranked businesses in industries such as HVAC, roofing, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, pest control, or similar service categories, and understand how Google Business Profiles, local landing pages, and service-area SEO generate leads, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
1. SEO Strategy, Execution & Team Management
Manage SEO campaigns across multiple client accounts
Oversee and mentor SEO specialists and content teams
Prioritize tasks based on impact and business goals
Ensure consistent execution of SEO processes and SOPs
Drive measurable improvements in rankings (AI Overview, ChatGPT, Perplexity), organic traffic, and lead generation

2. On-Page SEO & Content Optimization
Optimize service pages, city/location pages, and blog content for local search intent and conversions
Review and improve SEO content including service pages, FAQs, and blog articles
Implement proper heading structures (H1-H4), internal linking strategies, schema markup, and conversion-focused calls-to-action
Align content with search intent and user needs—not just keyword placement
Identify content gaps and expansion opportunities

3. Technical SEO

Perform comprehensive technical SEO audits and implement recommendations, including:
Core Web Vitals optimization
Crawlability and indexation improvements
Site architecture and internal linking enhancements
Redirect management, canonicalization, and noindex implementation
Structured data and schema markup implementation
WordPress SEO optimization across various themes and page builders

You should be comfortable working directly with developers and clearly communicating technical requirements, priorities, and expected outcomes.

4. Local SEO (High Priority)
Fully optimize Google Business Profiles, including categories, services, products, media, posts, and FAQs
Build and optimize city, neighborhood, and service-area landing pages
Maintain citation consistency and NAP accuracy across directories
Develop strategies to improve local visibility and map pack rankings
Demonstrate a strong understanding of proximity, relevance, prominence, and local ranking signals

5. SOP Execution & Continuous Improvement
Follow established SEO SOPs with consistency and accountability
Identify process gaps and opportunities for improvement
Contribute to developing scalable SEO systems and documentation
Maintain organized task management and reporting processes

6. Analytics, Reporting & Performance Tracking
Monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and lead generation metrics
Conduct SEO audits and competitive analysis
Translate SEO data into actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams
Deliver clear performance reporting and strategic insights

Experience with Search Atlas is a strong advantage.

Required Qualifications
Must-Have
7+ years of hands-on SEO experience
Proven success ranking U.S.-based home service businesses
Demonstrated local SEO expertise with Google Business Profiles and local search campaigns
Strong technical SEO knowledge and implementation experience
Advanced on-page SEO and content optimization skills
Extensive experience with WordPress websites

Strong knowledge of:
Ahrefs
SEMrush
BrightLocal
Screaming Frog
Google Search Console
Google Analytics

Experience implementing schema markup for local and service businesses
Ability to provide recent SEO reports or case studies demonstrating measurable results
Process-driven mindset with strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Agency experience managing multiple client accounts
Experience managing SEO teams
Familiarity with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)
Experience with Search Atlas
What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6–12 months, you will:
Improve rankings for high-value service and city keywords
Increase qualified leads from organic search and Google Business Profiles
Deliver scalable SEO implementations across multiple websites
Improve execution efficiency through stronger SOPs and processes
Help clients achieve measurable business growth through SEO
