RESPONSIBILITIES
MARKETING EXECUTION & CONTENT OPERATIONS
- Own and maintain the marketing content calendar across blog,
- Ensure content is scheduled in advance and published on time.
- Execute marketing campaigns across content,
- Coordinate, build, and publish blog posts, landing pages, newsletters, and marketing assets.
- Schedule and manage content across WordPress, LinkedIn,
- Create or coordinate supporting graphics, social assets, and lightweight video content.
- Support campaign launches, QA, reporting, and other marketing initiatives.
PROJECT & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COORDINATION
- Create and manage Trello cards for all marketing initiatives and ensure work is properly documented.
- Ensure every task card includes a clear and complete description, acceptance criteria, story points, release notes, and supporting documentation when applicable.
- Track weekly priorities, manage sprint commitments, and surface blockers proactively.
- Intake and coordinate marketing requests from other departments and ensure timely follow-up.
OPERATIONS & REPORTING
- Support weekly reporting on marketing activities, performance metrics, and completed initiatives.
- Help maintain consistency across folder structures, naming conventions, UTMs, metadata, and documentation.
- Assist with marketing QA, process improvements, and operational best practices.
- Ensure marketing assets, campaigns, and activities are properly organized and documented.

WHAT YOU BRING
CORE REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing coordination, project management, editorial operations, content marketing, or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing projects in Trello or similar project-management tools.
- Experience using WordPress, social scheduling tools, and Google Workspace.
- Intermediate SEO knowledge, including keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, metadata, and basic content-performance analysis.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience using Canva, Figma, or similar tools to create marketing visuals and short-form content.
- Ability to work with meaningful overlap during U.S. Central Time business hours.

SCHEDULE
- Remote independent contractor role.
- Minimum 20 hours per week required.

COMPENSATION
Compensation depends on experience, availability, scope, and demonstrated ability to own marketing coordination and operational responsibilities.
Expected monthly compensation for a part-time schedule is $260-$650 per month, depending on agreed weekly hours and experience.
Candidates who grow into a full-time schedule may be considered for a monthly compensation range of $520-$1,040 per month, depending on scope, performance, and business needs.
