JOB OVERVIEW

Senior Australian Bookkeeper & Tax Accountant

Completely Taylored is a growing Australian bookkeeping, taxation and business advisory firm seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper & Tax Accountant to join our team on a long-term basis.

This is not a virtual assistant role.

We are looking for a highly skilled accounting professional with genuine Australian bookkeeping and taxation experience who can work independently across a portfolio of clients.

Essential Experience

To be considered for this role you MUST have:

• Extensive Xero experience
• Experience using Xero Tax
• Experience preparing and lodging Australian tax returns
• Experience preparing BAS and IAS returns
• Experience preparing EOFY workpapers and financial statements
• Australian payroll experience including STP and superannuation
• Excellent written and spoken English

Experience Required

Applicants must have experience preparing and lodging:

• Individual tax returns
• Individual tax returns with rental properties
• Sole Trader / ABN tax returns
• Company (Pty Ltd) tax returns
• Trust tax returns

You must be comfortable reviewing client information, identifying missing documentation, communicating with clients and preparing files ready for review and lodgement.

• Day-to-day bookkeeping
• Bank reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Payroll processing
• BAS and IAS preparation
• Preparation of financial statements
• EOFY compliance work
• Tax return preparation and lodgement through Xero Tax
• Client communication and follow up
• Management reporting
• General accounting support

Highly Regarded

• Australian public practice experience
• Real estate trust accounting experience
• Xero/MYOB experience
• Experience with multiple Australian entities including companies and trusts
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
