We are a growing e?commerce company based in Los Angeles focused on profitable, long?term products on Amazon and other channels. We’re looking for someone who can systematically find high?potential products and build relationships directly with manufacturers.
Role overview
You will research Amazon listings to identify products with strong demand and profit potential, then contact manufacturers by phone and
Key responsibilities
1. Research Amazon for products with high demand, healthy margins, and manageable competition (using tools like Amazon Best Sellers, Product Opportunity Explorer, or third?party research tools).
2. Analyze product pricing, FBA/fulfillment fees, and shipping costs to estimate unit profitability and recommend which products to pursue.
3. Identify the brand/manufacturer behind promising listings and locate accurate contact information (website, LinkedIn, trade directories, etc.).

4b. Request wholesale price lists, MOQ (minimum order quantity), and terms.
4c. Clarify current Amazon/online distribution strategy and any existing reseller policies.
5. Where appropriate, pitch exclusive or semi?exclusive arrangements (e.g., exclusive Amazon seller for a specific region or channel) and gather details needed for a formal agreement.
6. Maintain a pipeline in a spreadsheet or CRM with notes on each product, manufacturer responses, pricing, and next steps.
Required skills and experience
1. Strong written and spoken English, with a clear and neutral English accent suitable for frequent calls with US?based and international manufacturers.
2. Experience with Amazon FBA or wholesale product sourcing (even small?scale) and understanding of basic profitability calculations (landed cost, Amazon fees, net margin).
3. Strong research skills: comfortable digging through Amazon listings, brand websites, and trade directories to find the right contact.

5. Organized and detail?oriented; able to track dozens of manufacturers and products, and update shared spreadsheets/CRMs regularly.
6. Comfortable working with basic spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) to track leads, pricing, and margin calculations.
Nice to have
1. Prior experience negotiating with manufacturers, distributors, or wholesalers for e?commerce.
2. Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central, FBA, and tools like Jungle Scout, Helium 10, or similar product research tools.
3. Experience with exclusivity agreements or channel?specific distribution deals.
4. Background in sales, sourcing, purchasing, or account management.
Work arrangement & compensation
1. Full?time; remote with preference for overlapping hours with USA Pacific Time.
2. Performance?based bonuses possible tied to profitable products sourced and successful supplier agreements.
