About the Role

MarketX Inc. is looking for a skilled and experienced Full-Time Book Writer for BraveMind Publishing, the company’s modern publishing brand.

We are looking for a writer with prior experience working with a publishing company, editorial team, book production team, self-publishing company, or similar professional writing environment. The applicant must have written at least one complete nonfiction, self-help, motivational, educational, or business-related book from cover to cover.

The ideal candidate must be capable of developing, writing, improving, and polishing nonfiction manuscripts in Taglish and/or English for Filipino readers. This role requires strong understanding of book structure, manuscript flow, chapter development, reader engagement, and the overall publishing process.

AI tools may be used as part of the writing workflow. However, the final manuscript must be human-refined, original, well-structured, natural, practical, and suitable for the target market. We are not looking for someone who simply copies AI-generated content. We need a professional writer who can use AI wisely while applying creativity, judgment, research, and strong writing skills.

Key Responsibilities
Write nonfiction book manuscripts in Taglish and/or English.
Develop chapter outlines, book flow, titles, subtitles, examples, exercises, and key takeaways.
Improve rough drafts, AI-assisted drafts, and existing manuscript materials.
Make content engaging, practical, relatable, and easy to understand.
Organize ideas into a clear, logical, and reader-friendly book structure.
Write in a tone suitable for Filipino mass-market readers.
Remove repetitive, generic, boring, overly academic, or AI-sounding content.
Research topics, reader problems, examples, and references when needed.
Ensure consistency in tone, message, structure, and chapter flow.
Coordinate with the publishing and editorial team for revisions and improvements.
Revise manuscripts based on feedback, editorial direction, and publishing requirements.
Meet agreed deadlines while maintaining quality output.
Qualifications
Must have experience as a Book Writer, Manuscript Writer, Content Writer, Ghostwriter, or Nonfiction Writer.
Must have written at least one complete nonfiction, self-help, motivational, educational, or business-related book from cover to cover.
Preferably with experience working in a publishing company, book production team, editorial team, or self-publishing company.
Strong background in writing books, ebooks, long-form content, educational materials, or practical guide materials.
Excellent writing, grammar, structure, and content organization skills.
Can write naturally in Taglish and/or English.
Understands Filipino readers and practical nonfiction writing style.
Knowledgeable in using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms as part of the writing workflow.
Can improve AI-assisted content instead of simply copying or relying on AI output.
Creative, detail-oriented, organized, and deadline-driven.
Can follow instructions and work independently.
Open to feedback, revisions, and editorial direction.
