Tax Documentation & Client Success Specialist

We help business owners recover valuable tax credits through the FICA Tip Tax Credit program.
Our team works directly with restaurant and hospitality businesses across the United States to
gather documentation, process claims, and coordinate with our CPA team.
We are a growing company, and we're looking for someone who enjoys organization, document
management, client communication, and process improvement. Because we're still building and
refining our systems, your feedback will directly help shape how our software and workflows evolve.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Tax Documentation & Client Success
Specialist to manage client files, review required tax documentation, follow up on missing items,
and coordinate with our CPA team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working through large client lists, keeping detailed
records, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Responsibilities
• Review client accounts within our software platform.
• Determine which documents are still required for each client.
• Follow up with clients by phone,
• Understand and track various IRS forms and tax-related documents.
• Verify that submitted documents are complete and accurate.
• Work closely with our CPA team to obtain additional information when requested.
• Contact clients who own multiple businesses and determine whether all eligible companies have
been enrolled.
• Monitor client progress and keep records updated within the system.
• Escalate issues when documentation is incomplete or unclear.
• Suggest improvements to workflows and software features that would make the process more
efficient.

Requirements
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Comfortable speaking with U.S.-based business owners by phone.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage a large number of clients simultaneously.
• Experience working with CRM or case-management software.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to learn tax-related processes and documentation.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace.
Preferred Experience
• Tax preparation or bookkeeping experience.
• Accounting or finance background.
• Experience with IRS forms or tax documentation.
• Customer success, account management, or client onboarding experience.
• Experience working with U.S.-based businesses.
