JOB OVERVIEW

HIRING: Fashion Retail Data Collectors
========================

COMPANY: Early-stage e-commerce tech startup

ROLE: Weekly Product Data Collector (1-2 retailers per VA, 1-2 hours/week)

ABOUT THE PROJECT:
We're in final MVP stage. We have the app built, the infrastructure ready — the only bottleneck is data. We need fast, accurate collection of sale items from fashion retailers into our Airtable base, weekly. This is the missing piece before we launch.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Every Monday morning: Log into 1-2 assigned fashion retailers
- **SALE ITEMS ONLY** — filter for current discounts/markdowns in specified price range ($75 and less)
- Extract only items that are actually on sale (not full-price catalog noise)
- Extract: Product name, sale price, retail price, product URL, product image URL
- Use whatever tools/methods you use to do this **quickly and accurately**
- Transfer data directly into our Airtable base
- Bonus: Flag items that have good style/aesthetic value (we're curating, not dumping junk deals)
- QA your own work (spot-check URLs load, prices match, images display)

TIME COMMITMENT: 1-2 hours/week (recurring, same day each week)

SKILLS WE NEED:
? **Experience with web scraping/data extraction tools** — you have a tried-and-tested workflow that's faster than manual
? **Fashion sensibility** — you understand style, aesthetics, what actually looks good
? Proven ability to transfer data into Airtable quickly
? Detail-oriented (prices, URLs, images must be correct)
? Ability to spot "good" sale items vs. garbage clearance (style judgment matters)
? Basic troubleshooting if a retailer site changes
? Independent worker (minimal handholding after initial training)
? Reliable — same time every week

COMPENSATION:
- $40–60/week per retailer assigned ($2.50–4/hour equivalent)
- Paid weekly via PayPal or Wise
- Potential to manage more retailers if performance is strong

HOW WE'LL WORK:
1. Trial week: You'll collect data from 1 retailer for 2 hours. We'll review quality and speed.
2. If approved: Lock in recurring weekly schedule for same retailer(s)
3. Direct Slack/email communication with founder for questions

TIMELINE:
- Start ASAP
- Ongoing through 2026 (at minimum)

INTERESTED?
Apply with:
1. **What data extraction tools or methods do you currently use?** (Describe your actual workflow — what extensions, scripts, or techniques do you rely on?)
2. **Show me a past example** of data you've collected/transferred quickly (screenshot, spreadsheet, anything that shows speed + accuracy)
3. **Your fashion sense/style background** — do you follow fashion trends? Have you worked in fashion or retail?
4. **Timezone and preferred days/times** (Monday mornings preferred)

?? **We want real people with real experience.** Generic applications will be skipped.

HIRING MULTIPLE PEOPLE: We're looking for 3–5 VAs simultaneously. If you know someone reliable, referrals are welcome
