Fractional AI Specialist — Automation, Agents & Workflow
Visture Property Group · Peterborough, ON, Canada Remote-friendly (Canada) with occasional on-site help · Fractional / 6-month initial contract with renewal and/ full time employment possibilities. Compensation: based on experience
About us
Visture is a vertically integrated property management and construction company — roughly 225 doors under management and several million in annual construction — built on strong operating discipline (EOS) and a values-first culture. We’ve done the strategy and we know exactly where we’re going: we’re becoming an AI-native company, and we’re looking for the builder to help us get there.
The role
This is an AI-first, hands-on build role. You’ll design and ship AI agents and automations across our business — leasing, sales/estimating, maintenance, finance, and construction — wire them into the tools we already use, and put sensible guardrails around them. This is the core of the job and where ~80% of your time goes.
It is not a traditional IT / help-desk / network role. We run entirely on Google Workspace and cloud tools — there are no servers to maintain. The only “IT” we need is light: helping us structure our Google Workspace cleanly and setting up reliable access to AI models for the team. If you’re a strong AI builder who’s comfortable with that light setup work, you’re exactly who we want.
What you’ll do
Build and ship AI workflows and agents — one at a time, prove them, then scale.
Connect our existing tools so data flows: Buildium, QuickBooks Online, Co-construct, Float, Google Workspace, and ClickUp (our command centre).
Stand up dependable access to AI models for the team — cloud APIs, and open/local models where they make sense.
Build in guardrails: human approval where money or compliance is involved, plus logging and a clear audit trail.
Light Google Workspace structuring (files, access, shared drives) so the foundation is clean.
Coach our team to actually use what you build — adoption, not just pilots.
What we’re looking for
Demonstrated experience building AI / automation — agents, LLM APIs, and no-code/low-code tools (e.g. Zapier, Make), with real integrations between business systems.
A pragmatic, ship-it builder: start small, prove value, scale what works.
A safety/governance instinct — you think about what could go wrong and design for it, especially anything touching money or customers.
Comfort moving data between platforms cleanly and securely.
Clear communicator who can work with non-technical operators and explain trade-offs plainly.
Enough general tech comfort to handle light Google Workspace administration. (You do not need to be a network engineer or sysadmin.)
Bonus points
You’ve helped a small or mid-sized company actually adopt AI — not just run a pilot.
Experience standing up open-source / local models.
Familiarity with property management or construction software (Buildium, Co-construct, QBO, ClickUp).
Data-integration, security, or governance background.
To apply
Send your resume and a short note answering one question: What’s a manual, repetitive workflow you’d automate first, and how would you keep it safe? (A few sentences is plenty — we want to see how you think.)
We review every application and respond to every applicant.
