JOB OVERVIEW

Looking for a full-time short-form video editor to help edit TikTok Shop affiliate content.

You will mostly be editing simple fashion videos using CapCut. This will include cutting raw footage, improving pacing, adding text hooks/ overlays, and making the video feel clean, scroll-stopping, engaging and native to TikTok.

This is not advanced editing. You do not need to be a professional editor, but you do need to be fast, reliable, good at following examples, and able to make videos look engaging and understand the Tik Tok style.

I will provide:
* Raw product footage (uncut around 2-2.30 minutes)
* MP3 audio file (if there is a voiceover for the video)
* All finished videos will be between 30 -45 seconds long
* Example videos for editing style
* Feedback and training
* Any tools needed, if required
* Written script to work to
You do not need to pay for any tools. Capcut free version is enough.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Editing short-form TikTok Shop affiliate videos in CapCut
* Cutting out dead space and making the pacing faster
* Adding simple text hooks/overlays
* Adding close-ups and zooms to highlight features/benefits
* Matching the style of example videos I provide
* Organising and submitting finished videos on time in google drive
* Making small revisions based on feedback

Requirements
* Previous experience using CapCut
* Strong attention to detail
* Good English understanding
* Reliable internet connection
* Able to follow examples closely
* Able to take feedback and improve quickly
* Good communication
* Able to work consistently 5 days a week, and turnaround raw files to ‘post ready’ videos within 24 hours
* Able to submit 10 completed videos to me 5 days a week
* Able to take payment through - Wise
* If based in (PHT timezone) able to work with my time zone (GMT) United Kingdom

Nice To Have
* Experience editing TikTok / Reels / Shorts
* Experience with TikTok Shop affiliate content
* Basic understanding of hooks, pacing, captions, and product videos
* Ability to suggest improvements to videos
* Creative flair

Pay
Pay will be paid:
Weekly on delivery of videos
* [$1.50] per video
* [10 videos per day x 5 days Mon-Fri]
* Bonuses available for strong performance

Optional bonuses:
* [$5] bonus per [500k views]
* Extra bonus for videos that generate high sales
* Extra pay available for additional videos when needed
Pay will be weekly promptly on delivery of all the videos

The goal is not to copy these videos exactly, but to understand the pacing, title hooks, why they work, hook style, and editing format.

Editing Assignment
To apply, please complete a short editing assignment so I can see your skills. Will take around 10 minutes MAX.

I will provide:
* Raw footage from one of my product videos
* An example/inspo video showing the editing style I want
* Any text hooks/script needed

Your task:
1. Edit the raw footage in CapCut
2. Match the pacing and style of the example video
3. Add the text hook at the beginning part only
4. Make the video feel clean, fast-paced, and TikTok-native
5. Export the final video in 9:16 format
6. Upload it to Google Drive and send me the link with access enabled

Extra Notes
I am looking to hire ASAP and create a long term relationship.
The idea of this role is for you to help me create consistent TikTok Shop affiliate videos that I can post on my fashion account.
I have multiple accounts and if we d ---------- to work together there will be future opportunities to expand and for more video editing opportunities across my other accounts with different niches and products.

We will also have a short zoom call, if you are successful for a meet-up basic training and to confirm schedules etc
You will be trained on my style and given examples, so I’m mainly looking for someone who is reliable, fast at learning, good with CapCut, able to communicate effectively and efficiently and to follow instructions throughly.
