ABOUT US
We are an innovative AI systems and education company helping founders leverage AI to drive revenue. Alongside our consulting workflows, we are launching a custom-built course platform shortly. Our mission is to provide high-value, actionable content that helps businesses scale effectively using modern technology.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking to scale our content output across YouTube, our upcoming course platform, and various social media channels. We are seeking a capable, part-time remote Video Editor to take full ownership of the post-production process so our founder can focus on filming.
This is a hands-on production role for someone with a strong eye for design who can turn raw footage and brand guidelines into polished, on-brand video. Our leadership comes from a motion graphics and design background, so quality and brand consistency matter deeply to us. You will be provided with a clear brief, branding assets, example Premiere files, and a steady supply of footage, then trusted to deliver to a high standard with minimal hand-holding.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*Long-form editing-- Edit long-form videos for YouTube, polished with graphics and stock where it adds value.
*Course content-- Cut the same footage into clean, narrative-led versions for the course platform.
*Short-form clips-- Repurpose each long-form video into three to four short-form clips for Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts.
*Brand application-- Apply brand guidelines, colours and assets consistently so every output looks on-brand.
*Motion graphics-- Add light motion graphics to lift YouTube and short form content above a straight cut.
*Thumbnails-- Design punchy, click-worthy thumbnails for YouTube videos with multiple options for A/B testing.
*Scheduling-- Schedule approved posts via Buffer across the social channels (supporting, not essential).
*Systems-- Build a reusable visual library and editing system so future videos can be turned around quickly and consistently.
REQUIREMENTS
-Around TWO years of professional video editing experience backed by a strong portfolio.
-Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with the ability to deliver fully editable project files in these formats.
-A genuine eye for design with the ability to translate static brand guidelines and assets into cohesive branded video.
-Comfortable working to a high standard with excellent attention to detail and brand consistency.
-Reliable, self-managing, and capable of delivering assets on time within agreed working hours.
-Strong written and spoken English skills for clear, seamless collaboration.
NICE TO HAVE
-Advanced motion graphics capability beyond basic editing (a significant advantage for this role).
-Strong thumbnail and graphic design skills.
-Experience scheduling and posting content directly across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
-Experience working comfortably within a lean, fast-moving team while taking creative ownership.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
-Professional computer/workstation capable of handling high-end video editing, rendering, and After Effects workflows.
-Access to professional software (Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects preferred. You may use alternative tools like DaVinci -Resolve, provided final deliverables are supplied as editable Premiere/After Effects files).
-Stable, high-speed internet connection for remote communication and large video file transfers.
