JOB OVERVIEW

We are a UK-based digital agency. We help UK businesses win more work online through high-converting websites and paid advertising. We're looking for a genuinely skilled Paid Ads Specialist, someone who lives and breathes paid media and can prove it.

Read carefully before applying: this is a paid advertising role first and foremost. It is NOT a general social media management role. If your experience is mainly scheduling organic posts, this is not the role for you. We will only consider applicants who can show a real portfolio of high-performing paid campaigns they have built and run.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS (in order of priority)
1. Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) — our biggest focus
2. Google Ads
3. Microsoft Ads
4. Organic social media posts (secondary — supporting the above)

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Planning, building, and managing paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and Microsoft Ads
- Doing your own research — audience, market, competitor, and keyword research — to build campaigns that convert
- Structuring campaigns properly: well-organised campaigns, ad sets/groups, audiences, and budgets that are thought through, not guesswork
- Writing high-converting ad copy
- Producing your own ad creatives and graphics that fit our brand and the client's goals — you can design, not just request designs from someone else
- Setting up and reading conversion tracking, and optimising campaigns on real data (CPC, CPA, ROAS)
- Managing organic social posts to support the paid work
- Reporting clearly on performance and what you'll improve next

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- A real portfolio / proof of paid campaigns you have personally built and run, with results
- Strong hands-on experience with Meta Ads, plus Google and ideally Microsoft Ads
- Demonstrated ability to design your own ad creatives and graphics (show examples)
- Proven understanding of campaign structure, targeting, and optimisation
- The ability to research a market/audience independently and turn it into a sound campaign plan
- Confident, persuasive ad copywriting in fluent English
- Self-directed — you can take a brief and deliver without hand-holding

WE WILL NOT CONSIDER
- Applicants with little or no paid ads experience
- Applicants whose experience is only organic social media management
- Applicants with no portfolio or proof of past work
- Generic copy-paste applications

NICE TO HAVE
- Google / Meta / Microsoft Ads certifications
- Experience advertising for local / service businesses and trades
- Landing page and conversion-rate optimisation experience
- Experience using AI tools in your ad and creative workflow

HOW WE WORK
- Fully remote, async-first (we use Teams)
- Clear goals, high standards, room to grow as we scale
- Long-term, stable relationship for the right specialist

TO APPLY (applications missing these will be ignored)
1. Links or files showing paid campaigns you've built — platform, budget managed, and the results (CPA / ROAS / conversions)
2. Examples of ad creatives/graphics you designed yourself
3. A short note: how would you research and structure a brand-new Meta Ads campaign for a UK service business from scratch?
4. Which ad platforms you're strongest on, and your certifications if any
