JOB OVERVIEW

**Position Overview**
We are looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Overnight Dispatcher to manage driver coordination, load assignments, and customer communication during our night shift. This is a critical role that keeps our operations running smoothly while the day team is off the clock.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor and dispatch drivers for assigned loads during the 6 PM – 6 AM shift
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries, ensuring on-time performance
- Communicate with drivers in real time to address delays, route changes, or issues
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and drivers during overnight hours
- Accurately log load information, mileage, and status updates in dispatch systems
- Review and verify Bills of Lading (BOLs) and delivery documentation
- Escalate critical issues to management when necessary
- Ensure a smooth handoff to the day shift with complete and accurate notes

**Requirements**
- Strong working knowledge of freight and logistics operations
- Proficiency with TMS or dispatch software (training provided on company-specific tools)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- High attention to detail — accuracy in documentation is essential
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace
- Availability to work the full 6 PM – 6 AM CST shift consistently

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Prior experience as a freight or trucking dispatcher
- Familiarity with oilfield or bulk liquid freight terminology (BOL, TONU, FSC, etc.)
- Experience working with U.S.-based trucking or logistics companies
