About Deloro Valley
Deloro Valley is a premier Event Venue dedicated to creating unforgettable, safe, and enriching experiences. Because we run a dynamic operation, we are looking for a sharp, self-motivated, and highly organized professional to handle our back-office backbone: Human Resources, compliance, and financial administration.
Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time HR, Payroll, and Operations Coordinator to manage our team’s hours, compliance certifications, camp permits, insurance, and bill payments.
This position deals heavily with California employment and labor laws. While you don't need to be an expert on day one, you must have the drive to study and learn these complex regulations. To support your growth, we will fully pay for your time spent training and studying these laws.
Key Responsibilities
-HR & Payroll Administration: Gather and verify weekly hours from individual staff members and department heads; process payroll accurately and on time.
-Labor Law Compliance & Policy Enforcement: Learn and master specific rules regarding meal/rest breaks, overtime regulations, and other standard workplace laws. Monitor time tracking and proactively help enforce these company policies across all departments.
-Compliance & Certifications: Track and monitor staff training progress and mandatory certifications to ensure 100% compliance.
-Permit & Insurance Management: Track, manage, and renew all necessary camp operational permits; oversee insurance requirements and ensure we meet all policy guidelines.
-Financial Accounts Payable: Manage and execute timely bill payments for camp operations.
-Sales support type tasks, as time allows.
Schedule & Shift Details
-Working Hours: approx. 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time) / Note: This is approximately 1:00 AM – 10:00 AM PHT.
-Work Days: 5 days a week Monday - Friday.
-Break: Proposed 1 hour total break time per shift.
Quality Remote Work Setup -- Because you will be communicating with leadership and handling sensitive data, you will need a reliable remote working environment:
-Workspace: A dedicated, quiet workspace where you can focus and take meetings without major distractions.
Communication: A clear webcam and a reliable headset with noise-canceling features for tea
-Internet & Power: High-speed internet connection. A backup power solution (like a UPS) and a secondary internet option (like mobile data or a pocket Wi-Fi) are strongly preferred to handle occasional outages.
Qualifications & Traits We Are Looking For
-The "Self-Starter" Gene: You are highly self-motivated. When given training materials on California labor law, you dive in and master them.
-Meticulous Attention to Detail: You don't miss deadlines, you catch errors in time tracking, and you keep permits updated before they expire.
-Excellent Communication: Fluent in English (both written and spoken) with the confidence to conduct professional Zoom calls with department heads.
-Experience: Previous experience handling US payroll, bill pay, or general HR functions is a massive plus.
What We Offer
-Competitive Salary: $950 - $1,200 USD per month (depending on experience).
-Paid Training: We value growth. We will pay for your hours spent studying and training on California labor and employment laws.
-Stable, Long-Term Employment: A consistent schedule with a supportive team.
To apply, please reply with:
-A brief summary of your experience with HR, payroll, or admin work.
-A quick description of your current remote work setup (internet speed and backup solutions).
-A link to a video introduction, so we can see how you communicate in meetings
-When you are available to start
-Use the phrase "Deloro Valley Compliance" in your subject line or the first line of your message so we know you read the whole post!
