We're looking for a Content Editor for a one-time project: reviewing already-completed articles for several websites we manage. You'll read each article and get it publish-ready — making sure it's accurate, well-written, flows well, follows our SOPs, and is free of grammatical and technical errors. The work consists of editing finished drafts against our instructions and SOP so each piece is ready to go live.
Two non-negotiables:
- You must be fluent in English, written and spoken.
- You must have a reliable internet connection. All of the work is web-based, so a stable connection is essential.
Who You Are
- Strong writer and editor who can quickly and thoroughly review articles on a variety of topics for accuracy
- Skilled at correcting articles for grammar, spelling, readability, and contextual accuracy
- Tech-savvy, with experience in tools like WordPress, Google Docs, and Asana
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with a team focused on continuous growth
- Most importantly: communicative, detail-oriented, and ready to work when content is handed off by our writing team
Project Details
- One-time editing project
- Flexible hours, fully remote
- $6/hour USD
Requirements
- Previous content production experience (writing, editing, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills
- Good English writing and speaking skills
- Efficient — able to complete tasks quickly and accurately
