JOB OVERVIEW

EE Media Productions is looking for a highly skilled, hybrid creative who can handle four areas within our company: short-form talking head video editing, one-off corporate and project videos, graphic design, and some administrative support.

This is not a beginner role.
We need someone who can work quickly, think independently, solve problems on their own, and consistently deliver polished work with minimal supervision. If you require constant instructions, frequent follow-ups, or step-by-step guidance for every task, this role will not be a good fit

Responsibilities
-Edit short-form talking head (TH) videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
-Edit one-off corporate and project videos, highlight videos, event recaps, and premium client content
-Create engaging captions, subtitles, graphics, animations, and visual hooks
-Replicate existing editing styles and match brand guidelines
-Source stock footage, sound effects, music, and visual assets when needed
-Create graphics, thumbnails, and social media assets using Canva, Photoshop, or similar tools
-Perform photo editing and color work for real estate and brand content
-Provide administrative support as needed (file organization, scheduling, coordination)
-Organize project files and maintain efficient workflows
-Meet deadlines consistently and communicate proactively

***Requirements***
-Strong experience editing talking head and short-form content
-Experience with Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software
-Solid graphic design and photo editing skills (Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva)
-Excellent English comprehension and grammar
-Ability to edit quickly without sacrificing quality
-Strong understanding of social media content and current trends
-Ability to follow references and replicate editing styles accurately
-Comfortable using Google Drive and Asana

Compensation & Work Setup

Remote, long-term, independent contractor
-Starting rate: USD $8.50 per hour
-2-month probationary period, after which the rate increases to USD $9.00 per hour
-Semi-annual performance bonuses
-Annual rate increases based on performance
-Flexible work schedule

This role needs your focus on EE Media, so it is not suited to someone juggling a full school schedule or other clients
