JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a highly skilled and proactive video editor to join our fast-growing e-commerce team. This is not just a typical editing gig - we need someone who knows how to create high-performing video ads, understands what works on Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and YouTube, and can move fast without sacrificing quality.

If you’re resourceful, creative, and experienced in editing performance-driven content, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
- Edit engaging short-form videos (15–60 sec) primarily for ads on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Repurpose long-form content into snappy, scroll-stopping edits
- Add text overlays, subtitles, sound effects, transitions, and basic motion graphics
- Keep a fast turnaround time and be ready to make quick changes based on performance data
- Stay on top of trends in DTC and social-first video ads

Requirements:
- Proven experience editing direct-response or performance-focused ads (portfolio required)
- Strong knowledge of what makes a video convert and stop the scroll
- Fluent in tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut, or CapCut
- Familiarity with content sourcing and creative repurposing
- Excellent communication skills - you're not afraid to ask questions or pitch ideas
- Ability to work quickly and independently, with minimal supervision
- Working in alignment with our expert copywriter and creative strategist

Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience with e-commerce or DTC brands
- Know how to analyze what kind of creative performs well
- Are familiar with creating hooks, visual storytelling, and using platform-specific best practices
