JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented video editor to take ownership of our weekly podcast and content publishing workflow.

This position is primarily intended as maternity leave coverage beginning later in 2026, with the potential for ongoing work after the coverage period ends.

The content is educational conversations. Most episodes are conversations between industry professionals and are typically 20–50 minutes long.

Our workflow begins with a rough-cut editor who removes filler words and prepares the initial Premiere Pro project.

You will then:

Complete the final video edit
Create YouTube-ready uploads
Create short-form clips from podcast episodes
Apply captions using Captions.ai
Add basic graphics and title cards
Create thumbnails and cover images
Manage approvals in Notion
Schedule and publish content through CoSchedule
Publish podcast episodes to YouTube and Spotify
Tools We Use
Adobe Premiere Pro
Notion
CoSchedule
Captions.ai
Spotify for Creators
YouTube Studio
ChatGPT

Ideal Candidate

You are someone who:

Is comfortable working independently
Has strong attention to detail
Communicates clearly
Can follow established workflows
Is comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency
Has experience publishing content, not just editing videos
Bonus Skills
Graphic design
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe InDesign
Canva
Marketing content creation
Social media management
Schedule

Expected workload is approximately 20–25 hours per week.

This role is expected to begin with training and onboarding before the primary coverage period starts.

There may be opportunities for ongoing work after the maternity leave coverage period concludes.

To Apply

Please include:

Examples of podcast or interview-style videos you have edited.
Your experience with Premiere Pro.
Your experience publishing content to YouTube and social media platforms.
A short Loom video introducing yourself and explaining why you would be a good fit.

Please record a 1–3 minute Loom introducing yourself.

Applications that do not include a video intro may not be reviewed.
