JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time Video Editor (CapCut / TikTok)

We are hiring a part-time video editor to work on a fast-growing TikTok and short-form content page. You will be editing videos using CapCut or your preferred software.

The editing is simple and straightforward — anyone proficient in video editing will have no problem picking this up.

Tasks include:

Cutting dead space in talking head videos and extracting audio and overlap 1.5 - 2 seconds on the previous audio so there is no dead space keeping the viewer engaged.
Adding overlay images on screen to support what's being said
Minor effects such as dynamic zoom in or out cropping, and transitions
Producing b-roll content from a voiceover and footage provided — you'll need to match the right visuals to the audio

Requirements:

Attention to detail
STRONG English
Strong internet connection
Previous experience with CapCut, TikTok, or Instagram Reels
Good at working with a team
Able to take constructive feedback
Available 2–4 hours/day (with potential for more)
Available 5–6 days/week (flexible days off, just stay consistent)

Create videos that:

* Grab attention in the first 2 seconds
* Keep viewers watching
* Feel natural and authentic
* Increase clicks and conversions

Editing Style Needed

You MUST understand:

* TikTok trends
* Retention editing
* Scroll-stopping hooks
* Fast-paced quick cuts
* CapCut editing
* Sound effects
* Zooms
* Pattern interrupts
* Product-focused storytelling

Daily Responsibilities

* Edit 10–20 short-form videos per day
* Deliver videos in 9:16 format
* Add engaging text overlays
* Meet deadlines consistently

* Strong English comprehension
