Aspen Ridge Insurance is a growing independent insurance agency based in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. We are a P&C and Life insurance agency with a focus on Personal Lines including auto and homeowners insurance. We partner with carriers like Erie, Foremost, Geico, Liberty Mutual, National General, Openly, Progressive, and Travelers.

THE ROLE
We're looking for an experienced Insurance Quoting Specialist to support our sales reps behind the scenes. Your core job is to take the load off our producers so they can sell: gathering information, running quotes, and preparing clean, accurate comparisons they can take straight to the client.
This starts as a back-office quoting role. For the right person who proves themselves, it can grow over time into more responsibility, including some client-facing work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Prepare quotes for personal lines (PL) (auto, home, etc.) to support our sales reps
• Prepare quotes for commercial lines (CL) to support our sales reps
• Build clean, accurate quote comparisons for producers to present to clients
• Enter and maintain client and policy data accurately
• Navigate carrier portals and our agency systems to pull what's needed for each quote
• Keep our quoting workflow organized, documented, and moving
• Communicate clearly and promptly with the sales team
• Assist with quotes for current customers
• Mortgage changes
• Administrative tasks

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
• Honesty and Integrity. Anything less is grounds for immediate termination.
• Take Initiative.
• Be teachable and willing to learn.
• Proven hands-on experience quoting for a US-based independent insurance agency. This is mandatory. Please be specific in your application about which agency, which lines, and how long.
• Excellent written English and clear, professional communication
• Strong, reliable internet — backup internet and/or backup power strongly preferred
• A reliable computer (if you don't have one, we're willing to reimburse you for one)
• Exceptional attention to detail and genuine care about getting numbers right
• Availability full-time during US Eastern business hours
• Stability. We are not looking for a job-hopper. Tenure at your current and prior positions matters a great deal to us — be ready to show it.

COMPENSATION & TERMS
• $700–$1,000/month USD, depending on your experience
• Full-time, with paid holidays and paid time off
• The position begins with a two-week paid trial. This gives both of us a low-pressure window to confirm it's the right fit before committing long-term.
