JOB OVERVIEW

Must overlap US Central business hours (Austin, Texas). Long-term role with room to grow as our startup scales.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a growing home care startup based in Austin, Texas, serving seniors and their families. We're looking for a proactive Virtual / Personal Assistant to be the right hand of our startup's founder and small leadership team. You'll wear several hats - social media, appointment setting, caregiver recruiting support, and whatever else a fast-moving startup needs - to keep everything running smoothly.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Social media: run our content calendar - edit short videos, write captions, and schedule posts to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and ---------- ; manage our Google Business Profile and review requests.
- Appointment setting & outreach: make calls and emails to book meetings for our business development lead, build and research referral target lists (hospitals, senior facilities, doctors' offices, case managers), and keep the calendar full.
- Recruiting support: post and refresh job ads, source applicants, screen resumes against a checklist, send screening questions, and schedule interviews.
- CRM & follow-up: log calls and meetings, set follow-up reminders, and draft thank-you notes for approval.
- Content & design: create simple marketing graphics and flyers in Canva and draft blog posts / newsletters.
- Admin & whatever's needed: calendar and inbox management, document organization, research, and other tasks to support the founder and team as we grow.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent written and spoken English and a clear, confident phone voice.
- 2+ years of virtual assistant, personal assistant, admin, appointment-setting, or sales-support experience.
- Comfortable with Google Workspace, a CRM, Canva, and social media schedulers.
- Fast, reliable internet and a quiet space for calls.
- Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable during US Central hours.
- Comfortable wearing multiple hats and taking initiative in a startup environment.

NICE TO HAVE
- Healthcare, home care, staffing, or recruiting support experience; video editing; light bookkeeping; basic SEO.
