JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a bookkeeping VA who understands Amazon retail and online arbitrage and can help us get caught up on 2025 COGS and keep 2026 and beyond current going forward.

Your primary role is executing our bookkeeping process inside SellAnalytix, our eCommerce bookkeeping, accrual accounting, and SKU-level profit analysis SaaS platform built specifically for Amazon sellers backed by a dedicated US-based bookkeeping team. Experience with SellAnalytix is definitely a plus but not required — however willingness to learn our system quickly is. You'll be mapping transactions, building BulkBills and invoices, maintaining our gift card register, and documenting purchases (both taxed and non-taxed) made with a combination of debit and credit cards, discounted gift cards, and rewards credits. We use Google Workspace and Claude.ai as part of our workflow and will provide access as part of our team subscriptions. Familiarity with Google Workspace is required, while prior knowledge of AI tools is a plus but not required.

This is not basic bookkeeping. We have an existing transaction tracking system, SOPs and validated and defined processes. You're not building from scratch — you're executing a system that's already designed and learning it quickly while integrating yourself into our team. You need to understand:

- Cost basis and blended cost rate calculations across mixed payment sources
- Multi-SKU purchase allocation
- The difference between a write-down and a write-off
- Manual entry of transactions that don't auto-import, including downloading and organizing digital receipts and order confirmations into Google Workspace and mapping them to their corresponding transactions in our master transactions tracking spreadsheet
- Assist with returns documentation — logging return transactions, maintaining our returns inspection log, and working collaboratively to identify write-down vs write-off dispositions
- Commitment to meeting weekly transaction deadlines once we reach a fully current and reconciled bookkeeping operation
