Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Seller Central-focused Virtual Assistant to manage and optimize Amazon outbound shipment workflows. This role requires strong operational execution inside Amazon Seller Central, with a focus on shipment creation, shipment cost tracking, logistics coordination, inventory management, and placement fee analysis. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, understands Amazon shipment methods including SPD, LTL, and FTL, and can accurately analyze shipment costs to support operational and financial decision-making.
Seller Central Shipment Management
This role is responsible for creating and managing Amazon shipment plans based on client-provided SKU and quantity requests. The successful candidate will coordinate shipments using SPD, LTL, and FTL methods, verify shipment accuracy, routing, carton counts, pallet configurations, and warehouse destinations, while proactively monitoring shipment statuses and resolving discrepancies. Maintaining accurate shipment documentation and tracking records is a critical part of the position.
Shipment Cost Analysis & Reporting
The candidate will review and analyze placement fees, transportation costs, split shipment impacts, and cost-per-unit shipping metrics. They will identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency while preparing recurring shipment cost summaries and reports that support business decision-making.
Data & Inventory Management
Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory levels across multiple warehouses and ensuring data consistency across reports. The role requires advanced use of Excel and Google Sheets for reporting, analysis, forecasting, and shipment planning. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy is essential.
Logistics Coordination
The successful candidate will coordinate with warehouses, prep centers, freight carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution. This includes scheduling and monitoring pickups and deliveries, assisting with freight coordination, and communicating shipment updates, delays, and exceptions clearly and promptly.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have hands-on experience working inside Amazon Seller Central and a strong understanding of Amazon shipment workflows. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets is required, along with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently, manage repetitive operational tasks with a high degree of accuracy, and communicate effectively in writing is essential. Preferred Qualifications
