About us
We are a family-run farm in rural Queensland, Australia. We raise and sell premium Wagyu and grass-fed beef direct to customers — at farmers’ markets, from our market van, and online — and we deliver across South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Everything we sell is real, whole food with no preservatives or artificial ingredients.
Now we want to grow our wholesale side — getting our beef onto the menus and shelves of restaurants, clubs, pubs and function venues. We need someone organised and personable to find these venues, make first contact, follow up, and line up meetings for the owner. There’s also general personal-assistant work to help keep the business running smoothly.
The role
Your main job is building our wholesale sales pipeline. You’ll research venues in our delivery area, find the right person to talk to, send a friendly first approach, follow up politely until you get an answer, and book interested venues in for a chat with the owner. You keep it all organised in a simple tracker so nothing falls through the cracks. Alongside this, you’ll help with general PA tasks.
Note: you research, reach out and follow up to book the meeting — the owner does the actual sales meeting and pricing. You are the engine that fills the calendar.
What you will do
• Research venues that could buy our beef — restaurants and cafés, pubs, clubs and RSLs, and hotels, caterers and function venues — across South-East Queensland (Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba) and Northern NSW.
• Build a clean, organised contact list / spreadsheet for each venue: name, location, the right contact person (owner, head chef or buyer), phone,
• Send a friendly, professional first approach by
• Follow up politely and persistently — most replies come after a second or third nudge — until you get a yes, no, or a booked meeting.
• Book interested venues into the owner’s calendar for a call or visit, with all the background notes ready.
• Keep the whole pipeline organised in a simple CRM or spreadsheet so we always know who’s been contacted and what’s next.
• Help with general PA tasks — inbox and calendar help, simple documents, data entry, and other admin to keep things running.
Must have
• Experience with B2B lead research / list building — finding businesses and the right contact details online.
• Experience with cold or warm outreach
• Excellent written English — your
• Strong organisation: comfortable building and maintaining spreadsheets or a CRM.
• Self-motivated and reliable — you chase leads without being chased yourself.
• Reliable internet and your own computer.
Nice to have
• Experience with food, hospitality, or wholesale/distribution clients.
• Experience selling to or researching Australian businesses.
• Familiarity with a CRM (e.g. HubSpot, Zoho) or outreach tools.
• Comfortable making occasional calls if needed.
