JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a skilled Virtual Drafter with strong experience in AutoCAD to assist with construction and permitting drawings.

This will start as a paid per-project / hourly gig, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time long-term position based on performance and reliability.

About the Role

You will be responsible for creating and revising drawings used for permits and construction projects. We are looking for someone who is accurate, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions closely.

Responsibilities
Create and revise drawings using AutoCAD
Prepare site plans, floor plans, and permit drawings
Make revisions based on feedback
Ensure drawings meet city and permit requirements
Organize files and maintain version control
Communicate progress and updates clearly
Requirements
Strong AutoCAD experience (required)
Experience with construction or architectural drawings
High attention to detail
Reliable internet and computer setup
Good English communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines consistently

Nice to Have
Experience with permit drawings or submissions
Construction industry background
Remote work experience
