JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented Permit Closeout Specialist to support our telecommunications permitting operations in the State of Florida. This is a remote, task-based role ideal for someone with experience in right-of-way (ROW) permitting who is looking for flexible, work-from-home opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Research existing telecommunications permits to determine whether they have been properly closed out with the relevant jurisdiction
• Obtain required closeout documentation (Notice of Completion, Substantial Inspection Letter, etc.) per jurisdiction-specific requirements
• Coordinate with internal staff to schedule closeout inspections when needed
• Complete and submit forms to renew expired permits
• Update Contractor of Record information as required
• Communicate with jurisdiction offices via email to submit completed forms and follow up on outstanding items

What We’re Looking For

• Prior experience with right-of-way (ROW) permitting — this is required
• Familiarity with telecommunications or utility permitting processes
• Experience working with U.S. municipal or county jurisdictions preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow jurisdiction-specific requirements
• Reliable internet connection and ability to communicate professionally via email in English
• Self-motivated and able to manage task batches independently

Compensation & Schedule

• Pay: $1.00 USD per completed form
• Time per form: Most forms take 15 minutes or less to complete and submit
• Schedule: Flexible — work is assigned in batches and volume will vary based on project demand. This is not a guaranteed 40-hour/week role.
