JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented and business-minded tea ---------- mber to help expand our online store.

This is not a typical product research role.

We are looking for someone who can learn our product categories, understand our customers, and help us identify products that fit our store's standards for quality, pricing, and value.

Our goal is to build trusted product categories, not simply add random products.

Responsibilities

Category Development

Learn our existing product catalog
Understand our current product categories
Identify gaps within categories
Help expand categories with relevant products

Product Research & Evaluation

Research products from approved suppliers and marketplaces
Evaluate product quality based on reviews and seller reputation
Compare pricing and competition
Recommend products that fit our store

Business Analysis

Calculate product costs
Estimate selling prices
Estimate profit opportunities
Evaluate supplier reliability and shipping performance

Product Recommendation Reports
For each product recommendation, provide:

Product name
Supplier link
Product cost
Suggested selling price
Estimated profit
Supplier rating
Reason it fits the category
Potential concerns or risks

Requirements

Strong research skills
E-commerce experience
Excellent attention to detail
Comfortable working with spreadsheets
Strong analytical thinking
Good written and spoken English
Ability to learn customer preferences and product categories

We are building focused product categories.

We are not looking for someone to find random products.

We are looking for someone who can help us determine:

What products belong in our store
Which products fit our categories
Which products provide value to customers
Which products meet our quality standards
Which products make business sense

Hubstaff

This position uses Hubstaff time tracking during working hours. Candidates should be comfortable with:

Time tracking
Activity monitoring
Productivity reporting
