JOB OVERVIEW

**SEO & WordPress Web Developer (Remote)**

I need a reliable partner to handle additional client work on WordPress sites. The role blends on?page SEO, technical troubleshooting, and custom page development. I do not use Elementor ever (its awful), so all work must be done with standard WordPress themes and custom code.

**Primary responsibilities**
- Perform on?page SEO audits and implement recommended changes.
- Diagnose and fix technical issues (speed, crawl errors, broken links, page issues etc.).
- Build and style custom pages using HTML/CSS/JavaScript and WordPress APIs.
- Ensure designs are unique, visually appealing, and consistent with each brand’s identity.

**What I expect**
- availability to jump onto tasks as they arise.
- Clear communication and proactive problem?solving.
- Portfolio examples that showcase SEO?friendly, custom?designed WordPress sites.

**Application instructions**
1. Use the subject line: **“SEO WebDeveloper – [Your Name]”**.
2. Provide an 8?point application that explains:
1. Your experience with WordPress and SEO. Predominantly, what SEO tools do you use?
2. Tools and plugins you routinely use and why (excluding Elementor).
3. A brief case study of a recent SEO improvement you delivered.
4. A link to a portfolio or sample site you’ve built.
5. Your approach to diagnosing and fixing site issues.
6. How you ensure designs are unique and not stock templates.
7. Your availability and preferred communication method.
8. Why you stand out from the other 50 applicants.

3. Do not send a generic cover letter; tailor your response to the points above. At the end of the day, I know what I'm looking for.

Every task will be clearly scoped before you start, so you know exactly what to deliver. If you’re ready to take on a mix of SEO and development work and can produce high?quality, custom WordPress sites, I’d love to hear from you. I've set the desired number of hours per week at 10 only because I need to see how that person works out. Obviously, the better you do, I'll allocate more hours.
