JOB OVERVIEW

We are an established Amazon agency (20+ years) managing premium and heritage brands in categories like tabletop, glassware, home, and gift. Many of these brands are older companies whose product data was built for retail, not for Amazon, so it arrives incomplete and messy. We are hiring an experienced catalog specialist to take that data and get it live, accurate, and fully indexed on Amazon at scale.
This role is a fit if you have several years of hands-on experience building and fixing Amazon listings through flat files across large catalogs, and you are current on how Amazon search and indexing work today. If your experience is editing listings one at a time in the Seller Central interface, and you have not worked with flat files at scale, this is not the right role for you.
What the role involves:

Taking brand product data and getting it live correctly: right category, right flat file template, valid values, titles, bullets, backend, images mapped
Bulk uploads and error triage across catalogs with thousands of SKUs
Diagnosing and fixing de-indexed, suppressed, and buy-box-suppressed listings
Verifying that backend changes actually propagate to the live listing, and resolving it when they do not
Keeping catalog and pricing data clean in SellerCloud
Reading and maintaining SOPs

Requirements:

Multiple years building and fixing Amazon listings via flat files, with real examples you can show
Strong command of category templates, valid values, bulk uploads, and error troubleshooting at scale
Current understanding of how Amazon search works now, including Rufus and Cosmo and semantic indexing
Experience with large or messy catalogs and incomplete source data is a major plus
Familiarity with tools such as Seller Central, FlatFile Pro, SellerCloud or a similar ERP, ChannelMax or other repricers, Helium 10, and Excel
Reliable, consistent daily hours with some overlap with US Eastern Time
ClickUp for tasks and time tracking (we will train you)

How to apply (we screen carefully, applications that skip these steps are not reviewed):

Start your subject line with the word TANGIER.
Answer these three questions in your own words, briefly and specifically. We are judging how you think, and generic or AI-written answers are easy to spot.

a. A listing has had zero impressions for a full month. What is the first thing you check, and why?

b. What are Rufus and Cosmo, and how have they changed the way you fill out a flat file? If you have not worked with them yet, say so, and tell me how you would get up to speed.

c. Describe one specific listing or catalog problem you fixed: what was wrong, how you found it, what you did, and the result. One short paragraph.

d. what are the latest Amazon Title guidelines and what does a good title like for a heritage brand?

Optional, but it helps: attach a flat file you have built or a screenshot of a bulk-upload error you resolved.
Include your CV.
